Dates are supported, that is the one built-in people always assume is not. What your helper actually does is silently turn every Date into a string, drop every undefined key, and flatten Map and Set into {}: and it hides the offending field so the next person cannot find it. It works because it destroys the information, not because it fixes anything.

The stall point being the actual gap is the most useful thing in this thread. It turns a vague sense of not getting it into one specific question you can go and ask.
Related trick that costs nothing: explain it to an object. Talk it through to a wall, a plant, a rubber duck, whatever. It feels ridiculous for about eleven seconds and then it works, because speaking forces sequence and sequence exposes the gaps that nodding along conceals. I have solved a lot of problems this way while my colleague was still walking over to my desk.
Skew protection was one toggle and the banner took an afternoon. Next deploy produced 3 errors instead of 51, and those three were from a tab that had been open since Tuesday.
Record the audio and stop trying to capture words. I timestamp instead: a line, the time, and three words about what confused me. Reviewing means jumping to four timestamps rather than rereading eight pages, and it turned four hours of tidying into about forty minutes. Check your institution's rules on recording first, mine required asking the lecturer once at the start of term and every single one said yes.
That is uncomfortably accurate. My four hours are almost entirely headings, bullets and colour coding.
I will take the other side. The lateral is the riskier one here, and it depends entirely on whether the platform team is funded. A platform team that exists because a VP wants leverage is a great place to be, a platform team that exists to absorb toil nobody wants is a holding pen and they get outsourced or reorganised first in a downturn. Go and ask who their internal customers are and whether anyone would complain if the team vanished.
And put SET lock_timeout = '3s'; at the top of migrations. If a lock queue builds up, you want the migration to fail fast rather than quietly stall every write in the app behind it.
It is the single most common slow query I get asked about. People add @relation and assume the index came with it. Worth a one-off audit query listing FK columns with no index: most codebases have a few.
Half of interrupting is fear of losing the thought. Give yourself somewhere to put it. In meetings I write two words on paper and the urge disappears instantly, because the thought is now safe. Socially, the two words go on the back of my hand or nowhere at all, and I have found that a thought worth saying comes back and one that does not was not worth the interruption.
Worth doing this in front of a mirror with the toile actually closed at the back. Pinning a gape on a half open bodice gives you a number that is wrong by quite a lot.
distroless gets you to about 120mb, node:22-slim is still carrying a whole userland you never use
Put it into ads instead, the CPM is far better than $450 for one email.
This is also why interview style conversations feel exhausting for the other person. They are doing all the disclosing and getting nothing back, which reads as being assessed.
The podcast test is brutally effective as a filter. Almost everything I call revision fails it.
I used to test by shaving my arm and I once opened up a decent cut doing it on an edge that was better than I expected. Testing on your own skin is a bad habit with a genuinely unpleasant failure mode, and it does not even measure the thing you care about. Cork, paper, tomato, onion. Nothing attached to me.
Check the rebate side before you book anything. In our programme the audit was rebated in full if you went ahead with two or more of the recommended measures within a year, and the insulation rebate required a pre and post audit by an approved assessor anyway. So the paid audit effectively cost nothing and unlocked several thousand of measure rebates. Ring the programme before you ring the contractor.
Did it with twelve one cent coins. She got there herself in about five minutes and then made up two more comparisons to test me.
Nobody has ever mentioned that these documents exist and are shareable. Asking on Monday.
Open headcount at the level above is something I can find out in one conversation and had never thought to ask about.
Mild heresy: I stopped tracking altogether and it was the thing that finally worked. Tracking became its own habit, and the satisfying part became the ticking rather than the doing, which is why missing two days felt like the project was over.
What replaced it was moving objects. The mat stays unrolled on the floor. The phone charger lives in the kitchen and there is no cable in the bedroom. The language app is the only thing on my home screen. There is nothing to abandon because there is nothing to maintain.
One more thing that gets missed: the shape of the back crotch curve, not just its length. Many patterns use a fairly straight, shallow back curve so they can be graded cheaply. If your body has a more pronounced curve, adding length alone does not do it, you also need to scoop the curve deeper by 5 to 8mm near the crotch point.
