Measure the stages. Try Polars or DuckDB. Rewrite only if the profile says parsing and hashing dominate, and only after you have a baseline you can regression test against.

Owned three budget sets and regret two. The one I do not regret was a mid-tier tyre from a large manufacturer's second brand, same factory, older tread design, meaningfully cheaper. That is the sweet spot: not the no-name, not the flagship, the previous-generation design sold under the parent company's value label. Ask the shop which of their cheap lines is made by whom.
'Just water weight' isn't the dunk people think it is, but it also isn't nothing. Some of the early scale change is water drawn into the muscle cell, and if you compete in a weight class or you race, that matters to you specifically. For general lifting it's noise.
Ran the same decision with a similar rate and chose to keep the cash, and I do not regret it. The rate gap between my savings and my mortgage was about a point and a half, so on €26,000 the difference was a few hundred a year: real, but far less than the value I placed on having the money reachable while self-employed. The maths only looks decisive when the gap is large.
Agreed on thickness. Under about 5 cm you are buying a mattress protector with ambitions. The other consequence is your fitted sheets stop fitting, so budget for deep-pocket sheets in the same purchase.
This is the answer. A multi is a shotgun aimed at a problem you'd much rather identify and target.
Because a jeans-and-jacket commuter who drops it at a junction usually breaks a wrist or an ankle, not a shoulder. Hands go out on instinct and feet get trapped. Also both are cheap enough to buy properly at once, where a good jacket makes you wait a month.
This is why frameless packs get a bad reputation. People load them like a framed pack and conclude the design is bad.
Blunt option: you probably don't need the serum. Hyaluronic acid works by holding water at the surface and a decent moisturiser is already doing most of that. I dropped mine and noticed nothing except that my sunscreen stopped pilling.
Six months of reading and nobody has said this to me. Thank you.
Fair. My monitor is currently balanced on a stack of textbooks, which probably says everything.
I spent about six weeks tuning Anki's options, reading about scheduling and rebuilding my deck structure, and I studied less in those six weeks than in any comparable period. The tuning felt like studying. It is the most seductive form of procrastination in this hobby and I would not have believed that about myself.
Whatever you agree, the person paying less should still be on the lease and the bills. Contribution ratios are a private arrangement, legal standing is not.
I did it the stupid way: I memorised proofs. It worked for the first two sheets because the questions were close to the lecture examples, then the sheet with quantifiers landed and I had nothing, because I had never actually built anything myself. Cost me a resit and a summer. Write bad proofs early and get them shredded in office hours.
Twenty minutes of phone down from two hours is a big win and you're describing it as a failure. Bank that one before you start the next project.
I did thirty in a day once and what broke was not the schedule, it was me. By person twenty two I was giving everyone the same three directions and the results look like it in the final gallery. If you have twelve, use the spare time rather than compressing it, and take five minutes between every fourth person to reset your own head. Also shoot tethered if you can, because letting people see one frame early cuts the tense ones down enormously.
I would push back on the moving the decimal point framing, because it teaches a procedure that survives one term and blocks the concept underneath. The idea is how many times bigger than one, and once you say it that way, the minus is obviously how many times smaller than one, with no rule to remember. Ten to the 3 means a thousand times one, ten to the minus 3 means a thousandth of one, and the mantissa is just where you land after that. I have taught both ways and the students who learned the counter rule get stuck the first time they meet something like ten to the two point five.
'The logo is the product' is a very clean way to put it.
Solo in a two-person tent is a kilo of comfort you might genuinely want in UK weather when you're stuck inside for an afternoon. Decide that one on purpose rather than because it's the heaviest line on a spreadsheet.
The completely-dry-skin rule is doing you no favours at 0.025%. It exists to slow absorption when you're irritated, and plenty of people find applying over a moisturiser on slightly damp skin is far more tolerable with no obvious loss. I stopped waiting twenty minutes and everything got easier.
Handle fit matters more than steel at this price. Go somewhere you can hold three of them. I bought the internet's favourite budget knife and the handle was too small for my hand, so I gripped harder to control it, and my hand ached after twenty minutes of prep. Sold it at a loss and bought the boring one that fit.
The comparison worth making isn't this versus a spreadsheet, it's this versus the other paid apps. It's within a few dollars a year of the Apple-only one and meaningfully cheaper than the strict envelope one, and they're built on genuinely different philosophies: tracking what happened versus assigning every dollar in advance. Pick the philosophy first, then the price.
I would defend your side harder than you are defending it. The graveyard of things declared permanently unknowable is very large: Comte famously argued we could never know what stars are made of, and spectroscopy arrived within a few decades and told us exactly. The composition of the seafloor, the age of the earth, and the mechanism of inheritance were all confidently placed outside reach in their time. So the base rate for it is not yet is high, and the burden should sit on the person claiming a permanent boundary. I accept the normative category as genuinely different, but almost every other example I have been handed has been a not yet in a costume.
And the worst version is not the street, it is the ridge of packed snow the plow leaves across the end of your driveway. That is what beaches low cars.
I migrated about 900 paper cards, spent two evenings typing, and quit six weeks later. The typing was not the problem - the problem was that my paper cards had diagrams and my own handwriting on them and the typed versions were somehow flatter to review. If you do move, photograph the cards rather than retyping them, at least for anything visual.
