New septic tank is going in 55 feet from our well and the installer says that is fine

Replacing a failed system on a small lot and the only spot the excavator can reach puts the tank about 55 feet from the wellhead, with the field maybe 85 feet out and slightly downhill. Installer says it meets code here…
