Worth repeating the first paragraph because people sell these. Sealed air dry clay is still not food safe and still not waterproof, so a trinket dish is a dish for keys and earrings, not for olives.
And a sealed air dry clay pot will not hold water for a plant either. Put a plastic liner in it or keep it for dry things. The gloss makes it look capable of more than it is, which is exactly the problem.
