Neck roll and chin curtain do a surprising amount of the work. Mine came with both and I nearly binned them because they look like packaging. Putting them back in was a bigger change than my last helmet upgrade was.

Also worth spreading laundry across the week rather than doing six loads on a Saturday. A big slug of water in one day pushes solids toward the outlet before they've settled.
One boring possibility: health insurance and out of pocket costs. If you moved off an employer plan, the total cost is easy to underestimate by a few thousand a year even when you did the maths, because deductibles and things not covered aren't a monthly number. Worth pulling that category out separately rather than leaving it inside 'insurance'.
What made it click for me was learning verbs and prepositions with their case welded on, as one unit, rather than learning case rules separately. You don't remember that 'mit' takes dative, you simply never say it any other way because you learned the phrase that way. Both approaches work and honestly you want both, chunks for speed, table for the sentences you've never heard.
Mine had three different ones. The only catch is you sometimes have to re-authenticate with the card every 30 days, which is mildly annoying and still free.
One thing that has worked for me embarrassingly often: phone them. An actual call to AP at 10am, friendly, thirty seconds. Email chasing sits in a queue, a person on the phone opens the record while you're talking.
Storage is a real constraint and worth pricing rather than assuming. Many shops in the city do seasonal tyre storage for a per-season fee, which over four years is often less than the difference in wear you accept with all-weathers. Ask two shops near you before ruling out two sets, the condo problem may not be a problem.
At 95 kg starting from zero, the ramp matters far more than the shoe. Walk-run intervals, and do not skip the walk portions because you feel fine. Feeling fine at week two is precisely how people end up hurt at week six.
A fixed capacity retainer rather than a fixed deliverable. That does solve both sides, thank you.
The one thing I'd genuinely worry about at 37 is not the return assumption, it's whether stopping contributions has quietly raised your baseline spending. Coasting works because your number is fixed, and it stops working if your annual spend drifts up by 4% a year while you're not looking.
Attaching it to an existing habit rather than to a notification. That's the piece I was missing entirely.
Small thing that helps meanwhile: the staining in the toilet tank comes off with a citric acid soak far more easily than with scrubbing. Doesn't fix anything, just stops you resenting the bathroom while you sort out the filter.
Asking budget on the first call felt rude to me for years and it was the single biggest improvement when I started. Phrase it as 'do you have a range in mind so I can tell you now whether I'm the right fit' and nobody has ever been offended.
One factual thing to check before you decide: how your country's rules treat early withdrawals and whether there are any exceptions that would let you touch retirement money before 59 without a penalty. In some systems the bridge is smaller than people assume and the whole question changes. Worth an hour with someone who knows the rules where you live.
Everyone does it. It feels like work and it's the only project where you're the client, which is exactly why it never ends.
