'A bridge rather than a solution' is a much more useful frame for the next four weeks than what I had.

I was going to have this conversation verbally with my manager over coffee. Rethinking that entirely.
Also worth learning the language's own docs site rather than whatever search returns. Once you know where the reference lives, lookups get boring, which is the goal.
Added a disposable domain blocklist and I want to be honest about how that went, because it gets recommended a lot.
It blocked plenty of throwaway addresses, and it also blocked two real customers using privacy relay addresses, both of whom emailed me confused rather than trying again. Those lists have false positives baked in because they cannot distinguish a burner from a person who cares about their inbox.
If you use one, do not block at signup. Flag the account, let them in, and apply the tighter usage cap. You keep the customer and the abuser still gets nothing worth having.
Mine was both, in sequence. Nine months of a genuinely bad job, then the burnout took my legs out and something older got a foothold. Treating it as an either/or cost me about half a year of trying to fix the job when I also needed help with the other thing. It is allowed to be both and the framing of the question hides that.
Mild pushback: if you are 12 hours in and genuinely do not yet know how the pieces connect, finishing one more coherent chunk can be worth it. Not all 28 hours, but whatever section takes you to the first end to end thing, then stop and build. Building with too few pieces is its own kind of stuck, where you cannot even phrase the search query.
Mostly laptop, notebook and one shirt. So the comfort ceiling might not bite me. Useful to know where it is though.
Seven months, and the honest confounding variable is that I changed jobs at month four. I have no idea how long it would have taken going back to the same team, and everyone I know personally who went back into the same conditions relapsed inside a year. That's not a study, it's about six people, but it's six out of six.
Monthly promo threads are close to worthless in my experience and I want to save you the disappointment. Mine got 4 clicks. Everyone who posts in those threads is a founder, and the only readers are other founders scanning for their own competition.
What did work in that same Discord was answering questions in the actual topic channels for six weeks with no link at all, and having the product in my profile. Three people found it on their own and one of them asked me about it publicly, which is the only kind of public mention worth having.
Slightly boring answer, but if you cannot get there without buying junk, work out what the bonus is actually worth to you and be willing to walk away from it. I once spent 300 dollars on things I did not need to earn a bonus I valued at around 500 and the maths on that is much worse than it looks. This is my own experience rather than advice, and if this card is part of a bigger financial picture it is worth talking to someone qualified.
Network hospital list in your own city, not the national headline count. '12,000 hospitals' means nothing if the two you'd realistically go to in Pune aren't on it. Check the list, then check it again at each renewal, because hospitals leave networks over billing disputes.
It was the missing return. Two hours. I am going to go lie down.
Did not know that at all. Adding the check now.
This. Video review feels like studying and mostly is not. Watch when stuck, otherwise write.
Opens without replies almost always means the subject line earned attention that the body did not pay off. The two common versions:
The email is about you. If the second sentence describes what you built, you have lost. It should describe a situation they are in, specifically enough that they think this person has seen my week.
The ask is too big. Do you have 20 minutes for a call is a real cost to a stranger. Replace it with a question they can answer in one line while walking, something like, is reconciling supplier invoices still done by hand at your place, or did you solve that already. People answer questions. They do not book calls with strangers.
Also, three weeks and 200 emails is a small experiment. Change one variable, send another 60, and compare.
Agreed, and make the follow up add something rather than just bumping. A one line observation about their industry beats checking in on my last email every time.
One thing that should override all of the above: if you are applying for a mortgage or any large loan in the next six months, do nothing at all until it closes, and talk to your broker before touching any account. Not worth the risk for 95 dollars.
This reframing is the most useful thing in the thread. Most solo founders are twenty weeks into building and two days into selling.
