The Sunday tiredness makes sense, you removed the weekend lie-in that was quietly repaying some sleep debt, without yet fixing the debt itself. That is a real cost of the transition rather than a sign it is failing.
It felt illegal to me for about three weeks and then I stopped noticing entirely. The thing that made it click was deleting a component and knowing with certainty that no CSS anywhere had just become dead.
One practical thing: if you use a sock, do not tape it tight and do not leave it on unsupervised overnight. I made a mess of that once and made the whole thing worse.
Weigh her if you can do it without a fight, a kitchen scale and a carrier, or standing on bathroom scales holding her and subtracting yourself. Body weight over a fortnight is a much better signal than trying to guess how much of the bowl she ate.

Blind, and specifically a blackout blind mounted on the wall above the frame rather than inside the recess, with the curtains left in place over the top. The leak you have is almost entirely edge leak, and mounting outside the recess is what kills it: an inside-mount blind of any quality still glows around three sides.
Renting is not really an obstacle. Four small screws into the wall above the window, filled on the way out, is well within normal wear as long as you are not drilling tile.
Fair. The travel argument is a good one and I would not argue with buying both at that price.
